Target Demographic
This image above interpretates the varieties of genres that directors try and target specificly. As demonstrated on the image, crime and action tends to appeal more to males, having said that, our film is in between crime and action as it involves death, blood which are aspect associated with both categories.
Personally, i felt at the planing stage that our clip will be targeted at both sex, due to it being a horror opening however, as time went on everything changed completely and we ended up targeting males.
If we described one person from our target audience in detail, it would be something like :
''Romeo 16 years old, studies full time in secondary school looking to pass his G.C.S.E and move on to college. In his free time he loves to play video games to do with death and fighting, play football at the park, chill with mates, listen to music and buy the latest trainers out to show off in school and be cool. Romeo enjoys going out to eat, to the cinema and also to box.''
This is the type of person we are trying to target, a teen who follows the crowed and what goes around him, a male that enjoys his life and going out. Our clip is very male minded and grim, so someone like the stereo type i have just described is perfect to try and target.
